Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StreamHub website at streamhub.studio (the "Site") and the StreamHub software ("StreamHub"). By using the Site or the software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. The software and its licence
StreamHub is free and open-source software. It is licensed to you under the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 (the "AGPL-3.0"), whose full text accompanies the source code. Your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute StreamHub are defined by that licence, and nothing in these Terms limits the rights the AGPL-3.0 grants you.
In particular, the AGPL-3.0 requires that if you run a modified version of StreamHub and make it available to users over a network, you also make the corresponding source code of your modified version available to those users. You are responsible for your own compliance with the licence.
2. Self-hosting and your responsibilities
StreamHub is designed to be self-hosted on infrastructure that you control. When you install and operate StreamHub, you alone are responsible for that deployment: the servers, networking and storage you run it on, the security and configuration of your instance, the credentials and API tokens you issue, and the content that you or your users ingest, transmit, record or store through it.
You agree to operate StreamHub in compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to you, including those governing data protection, privacy, the recording of communications and the content you distribute. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from the people whose audio, video or data you process.
3. Use of the website
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site, to access it by automated means in a manner that places an unreasonable load on it, or to use it to infringe the rights of others. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
The Site, its text, graphics, logos and design are provided for your information. Trademarks and brand elements referenced on the Site remain the property of their respective owners; references to third-party products, including Ant Media, are for comparison and identification only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
4. Managed and hosted services
We may from time to time offer optional managed hosting, support or related commercial services for StreamHub. Any such service is offered separately and, where applicable, will be governed by an additional agreement or order form that specifies its scope, service levels, fees and data-processing terms. Except where such a separate agreement is in force, no commercial service, availability commitment or support obligation is created by these Terms, and the description of any forthcoming service on the Site is provided for information only and may change.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and the StreamHub software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or the software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. This disclaimer is without prejudice to the specific warranty terms of the AGPL-3.0 as they apply to the software.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall StreamHub, its authors or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or the software, whether based in contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction of the StreamHub project operators, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The specific governing law and venue will be stated here once finalised. Nothing in this clause affects the terms of the AGPL-3.0, which continues to govern the software itself.
